Avalon Consulting Group
As Chief Operating Officer with the Avalon Consulting Group, Kerri brings 20 years of fundraising experience. As Senior Vice President with the Avalon Consulting Group, Kerri brings over 17 years of fundraising experience – as both a client and a consultant – to her role at ADRFCO. Kerri’s analytical expertise, understanding of long-term member value, retention, and return on investment – combined with her creative writing background – are invaluable assets for the client programs she manages.
Christy is our newest member of the ADRFCO board. She is Vice President of Data Solutions at Epsilon, managing a team of 6 sales executives to drive business strategy to the NFP data division. Christy brings over 10 years of industry experience to her role at ADRFCO.
Chris has over 25 years’ experience working for and on behalf of non-profit organizations on both the direct marketing agency and client sides of the industry. Prior to founding NNE Marketing in 2009, his last role was as Vice President, Marketing and Analytics for another Boston area direct response agency. Chris also spent 12 years at the United States Golf Association, most recently as Director of Marketing, where he oversaw the Membership and US Open Ticket Sales operation. Chris holds a Master of Arts degree in Corporate Communication from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA. Chris joined the ADRFCO Board in 2017.
Tom knows his business from both sides of the desk; first as a public broadcasting development professional and then as a fundraising services agency owner and consultant. He has served on ADRFCO’s board of directors since 1998, and currently chairs the Legislation & Policy Committee. Tom is a regular lecturer and author on direct response fundraising and relationship building, and is an author of a book “In the Trenches” a compilation of his articles in Fundraising Success magazine.
Jack has been an ADRFCO board member since 1999, and currently serves on the Nominating Committee. He readily shares his 40 years of fundraising experience with Amergent clients, prospects and industry colleagues. He is a past Chair of the ADRFCO Board from 2010 through 2011, and was a Vice-Chair of the DMA NPF. In 2013, he was awarded the George T. Holloway Award for Distinguished Service by the National Catholic Development Conference.
Lautman Maska Neill & Company
Vicki Viera has been an ADRFCO Board Member since 2017 and serves on its Communications Committee. She brings with her nearly 15 years of fundraising experience – working with clients such as Heifer International, the Human Rights Campaign and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. Her focus is always on improving the donor experience by using results to inform creative, multi-channel strategies. Vicki currently also serves on the Board of Governors for Westover School in Middlebury, CT where she co-chairs the Westover Fund. She is a graduateof Tulane University with a dual degree in Marketing and Spanish Literature, and resides in New Orleans.
Mal Warwick | Donordigital
Dave Dogan, an industry veteran with over 25 years experience in leading direct response fundraising programs from both the agency and client side, joined the ADRFCO Board in 2016. Dave serves as Senior Vice President of Mal Warwick | Donordigital and opened their Washington, DC office in 2006 and continues to lead the growing team and provide oversight and strategic guidance for all DC based clients. Dave has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration from Elon University.
Thrive Marketing Group
Jennifer Mercer is a Partner and President of Thrive Marketing Group and holds more than 17 years of industry experience. During that time she has been an integral member of many of her clients’ programs, crafting fundraising strategies that are cost-effective and high-net- producing, while focusing on retention, conversion, reactivation and file growth. A member of the ADRFCO board since 2012, Jennifer Mercer currently serves on the membership committee.
Dennis L. Meyer
Denny has been a member of the ADRFCO board since 1996. He is a past president, and presently serves as chair of the Ethics Committee. Denny founded Meyer Partners, based in Chicago, in 1989, and serves as Chief Strategist and CEO. Prior to starting Meyer Partners he was a fundraising executive for ten years and then National Director of Marketing for another ADRFCO member firm, Epsilon. He is a past board member of the DMA’s Nonprofit Federation and is a director of the foundation of his alma mater, Concordia University Nebraska.
Catherine Carley has been a member of the ADRFCO Board since 2012, serving as treasurer and on the member services committee. Cathy has more than 15 years of experience fundraising for non-profits. Since 2004, she has been providing strategic guidance to a wide range of social service, health, cultural and animal organizations at Sanky Communications. She specializes in account management, analytics and strategic planning.
Meg Kross Lee
Meg, a member of the ADRFCO Board since 2015, is a versatile professional with more than 15 years of fundraising experience and a strong background in creative, art, copy, data, and budgeting. As a Vice President at CCAH, she manages some of their largest and most complex clients, providing seamless integration across channels and pushing the envelope looking forwhat’s next. Doing great work for great organizations is one of Meg’s greatest passions, and she never settles for second best. Meg is a graduate of Wellesley College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Women’s Studies.
CDR Fundraising Group
Marni serves as Vice President, Production & Operations at CDR Fundraising Group. A 20-year industry veteran, Marni leads a team of specialists who manage the production for all of CDR clients’ direct mail programs. As a member of CDR’s Executive Committee, Marni is also heavily involved in managing internal strategies and operations. A natural born problem solver, she enjoys finding innovative solutions for the challenges her work often presents. Marni is honored to have joined the ADRFCO Board in 2017.
Craig has been an ADRFCO board member since 2005. He was elected President of ADRFCO in 2018 and has served as Membership Chair from 2010-2017. Craig brings more than 20 years of fundraising and direct marketing experience in developing innovative, results-driven programs for leading nonprofit organizations. As President of Newport One, Craig works closely with nonprofit clients to help them build effective donor strategies and develop compelling creative to achieve fundraising success. He has raised hundreds of millions of dollars over his career and helped foster long term relationships with donors through multi-channel, donor-centric, integrated fundraising strategies.
John J. Mini
John Mini Consulting, Inc
Joining the ADRFCO board in 2005, John was elected is its president in 2016. He has chaired its PR committee and served as Treasurer and Vice President. With more than 30 years of direct response and major gift experience within fundraising agencies and national nonprofit organizations, John is uniquely suited to provide long-term strategic and creative direction for his client partners. Founded in 1997, his firm has built and enhanced donor acquisition and donor development programs for leading national charities. John earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Georgetown University.
Andrew Laudano has over 30 years of fundraising experience working for both fundraising agencies and nonprofit organizations. As a Senior Strategist, his passion is designing and managing integrated, multi-channel direct response fundraising programs for large, national organizations and regional nonprofits. He joined RKD Group over eight years ago. Andrew spent two years as the Director of Annual Giving at a regional hospital outside of Boston, as well as 12 years working for a tele-fundraising company. Andrew speaks frequently at the Direct Marketing Association Nonprofit Federation (DMANF) and Bridge Conferences, among others, and has served on the education committees of the Bridge Conference and the DMA Nonprofit Conference.
Robert S. Tigner is General Counsel to the Association of Direct Response Fundraising Counsel and Regulatory Counsel to the DMA Nonprofit Federation, both of Washington, D.C. As lawyer/advisor to these two major direct mail fundraising industry organizations, he works on federal and state legislative and compliance issues, interacting with regulators, legislators, media, nonprofits and fundraising consultants. For ADRFCO, Bob helped develop and implement the first comprehensive code of ethical standards for direct mail fundraising counsel. He also serves as volunteer General Counsel to the Multi-State Filer Project, Inc.
